The Scottish Rite is also known as Rose Croix or Ancient and Accepted Rite

The Scottish Rite Research Society (USA) publishes an annual journal called Heredom, which is highly regarded by Masonic scholars around the world. First published in 1992, it features a collection of essays on historical and contemporary Freemasonry with a focus on the Scottish Rite. Each volume contains several in-depth research manuscripts that have been reviewed by an editorial board.
