Seb Giroux
Seb Giroux was born in France where he stayed until the appeal to cross the Channel became too strong. Moving to the UK in 2003, he became a British citizen in 2019.
After building a successful career in IT that saw him become a Chief Technology Officer within a global utility company, Seb graduated in 2014 with an MSc in Information Leadership. Deciding to start his own business, Seb now provides consultancy and management services within the IT sector and in 2016 published a book for the profession called The IT leader’s manual.
A zealous writer, Seb ventured into the world of fiction and published his first novel in France in 2017 (translated and published in the UK in November 2018 under the title: Happy Ever… After). He is currently working on his second novel.
In contrast with his seasoned professional career, Seb's masonic career is only just beginning. He was initiated in the Henry of Auxerre lodge No 7235, London in 2015 and has since been exalted in the associated Chapter. In October 2020, he will be installed in the Chair of King Solomon. Whilst still quite young in Freemasonry, Seb is very keen to contribute to the Order and has already accepted the charity trowel in his mother lodge.
Seb has long sought to combine three ongoing interests: fact-based history research, exhilarating education and writing, the result of which is The mysteries of Freemasonry, a fun and educational puzzle book.
